I suppose it's some kind of art, and given the broad definition of art these days who could argue? Or maybe it's a memorial, some sort of "they don't make 'em like they used to" statement. Either way it begs a few questions:
- Where do you get this many red with a white top 2 door LTD Broughams?
- What's with the one way out back? Some sort of missing man formation?
- Are there Druids in the midwest?
I know exactly where you took this picture! I've been by there twice this year already- lol! The last time, I wanted to stop and take a pic for my blog, but it was raining and sleeting and the truck was dry and warm....well, the pic didn't get taken. Thanks for the memory!
ReplyDeleteWow. Nice find, Mark. I'm no closer to figuring it out than you are, but it's a pretty interesting conundrum.
ReplyDeleteOkay... so please don't get offended. You've been driving by this peculiar display for nine years and you've never made it a point to stop in or ask around to figure it out? Looking at the display, I'd just have to know. I mean, look at it. There's got to be some sort of hilarious story behind this.
ReplyDeleteYep... Art. I can't define it, but I know it when I see it - or when you do.
ReplyDeletekinda creepy.
ReplyDeleteI was in Clark a month ago on my very first trip to SD. I scratched my head as well when I saw that.
